Policy on Missing and Damaged Items:

Notice to all customers:
  • In the event of any missing items BPMS must be notified within a period of (10) working days to receive a favorable response.
  • In the event of any mail or package not picked up within the period of (10) working days BPMS will not be held responsible.



Conditions of Delivery

Your Obligations: All customers are asked that each package or envelope be described as to their value and fragility. That each package is properly sealed and properly marked with their receiver's name and address so that it can be delivered expeditiously. You are responsible for all charges at the time of delivery at any of BPMS branches. This policy is binding on all customers except our credit customers with whom we have a special arrangement for payment.

Road Transport Notice: BPMS will do its utmost to deliver your mails and packages on time and we promised. Be aware that at times this may not be possible because of road accidents and police check points which consumes time. Our drivers are licenced with the proper authorities and so are our vehicles, these will not cause delays.

Claim for loss or damage: All claims must be made in writing. BPMS will take immediate action to investigate the loss or misplacement of your property, and if a package is not found or package is badly damaged BPMS will pay the full value on presentation of receipt of value of contents. Please note that BPMS will only pay on presentation of receipt of value of package.

Liabilities Not Assumed: BPMS will not be liable for acts of omission, including but not limited to incorrect declaration of mail or packages; improper or insufficient packaging, securing, marking, or addressing (Street name and number, telephone number) of the shipment; or to the acts or omissions of the recipient or anyone else with an interest in the mail or package. We will not be liable for misinformation, or failure to provide information in connection with envelopes containing cash or other prohibited items. Please do not send packages containing (control drugs, cocaine, marijuana, etc.) the law enforcement authorities will be notified. After 30 days a warehousing fee will be charged for items not picked up. After this period BPMS will not be liable for packages damaged or missing.

Right to Inspect

Your mail or package at the request of government authorities (customs), at check points may be inspected at any time. This is beyond our control.

Departure Times: To keep with our departure schedule we ask all of our valued customers for their cooperation in ensuring that their mails and packages reach BPMS offices on time. We Will not be responsible for any late deliveries cause by late comers.

Responsibility for Payment: Even if you give us different payment instructions, you will always be primarily responsible for all charges incurred for deliveries. Instructions must be given in writing if possible for collection of payment from other interested persons.

Agreement to Terms: By giving your mail and packages, you agree, by singing our waybill to all terms and conditions described therein. ensure that you keep your copy of the waybill in case you need it for verification or lost and damaged claims.
